Users

The user administration module is a key tool for the secure and centralized management of user accounts, access rights through the placement of users into organizations or groups, and integrations with external directories. It enables administrators primarily to disable or enable users and to connect with local databases or directories, such as Active Directory.

The options for managing users depend on the system configuration (e.g., if users and their data are obtained from an active directory, the options for editing users within the system may be disabled).

Key functionalities:

  • Managing users through Users, with a list of all users and their settings.
  • Managing the connection with external directories through the User Directory, with a list of all users and their settings.
  • Configuring SAML providers (SAML).

In the Users section, administrators have access to the list of all users. The list is displayed with icons or as a list (by clicking the button for the desired view). Searching and viewing basic user data with editing is possible. In edit mode, it is possible to edit user data, assign them to an organization or group, and deactivate or delete users as needed.

The administrator also has the option to set a user's absence on the user record, in cases where the user was unable to, or did not, set their absence themselves on their profile.

You can manually add new users to the system using the following procedure:

  1. Click "Add".
  2. Enter the required data.
  3. Confirm with "Save".
