Access Rights

A user in the system has defined access rights that determine which content, functionalities, and data they can use or edit. The available access rights settings depend on the configuration for your organization.

What are access rights?

Access rights are permissions that allow a user to:

  • view certain content or documents,
  • edit data,
  • perform certain functions (e.g. signing, approving, uploading attachments, etc.),
  • access certain modules of the system.

Users are often divided into groups, organizations, and organizational units, where each can include a specific set of rights.

Who sets access rights in the system?

Access rights within the system itself are set by the System Administrator.

Users cannot change their own rights. The available access rights settings depend on the configuration for your organization. Your organization determines the content of the access rights assigned to users.
